Ayuda Foundation, Executive Director, Carlotta Leon Guerrero met with our team member, Ambassador Gerson Jackson in Suva, Fiji on July 18-19 for the Pacific Update Conference. At the conference the Ayuda team delivered a presentation on The Need for Sustainable Development in the FSM to prevent Migration. Many Micronesians are migrating from the atoll islands to either the main islands or Guam, Hawaii or the U.S. Ayuda is seeking funds to strengthen water catchment systems and technology on atoll islands.
